Kasanoda x Shy! Reader Romeo and Juliet

Today was the day. Yes today you were going to the Ouran Host Club. And no it wasn't for a host, it was for one of the customers. Kasanoda. Most people called him cold or harsh, but you knew the truth. When he thought he was alone, you were watching him feed the birds in the Ouran Rose Garden. You knew he had a heart, one of the few that knew, even though he was gaining in popularity. You would love to tell your feelings to him, but.... Well.... You were the shyest girl EVER.

You were walking down the polished halls and into the corridor, heading towards music room 3. Once you reached it, you gingerly put your hand on the door handle, and cautiously opened the big door.

The door slowly opened to reveal the club in full swing. Good. No one will notice you. You slipped through the doors and headed to Ms.... Oops! Mr. Fujioka's table. You see since you didnt talk much, you used your time studying the people around, like people watching, and easily found out Haruhi was a girl.

As you walked to her... Excuse me.. His table, you heard your heels clack softly on the marble floor. You reached the table and sat down on the chair farthest from the two fangirls, Kasanoda, and Haruhi. Because of your quietness, it took five minutes for someone to notice you. But not who you think.

You thinking Haruhi? Honey? Tamaki?

Nope!

It was the other quite one, Mori. The tall teen walked  over to your distant chair, and very lightly tapped your shoulder. You squeaked a little and blushed a little from embarrassment. You turned around and saw Mori. You instantly calm down. You see, because you had a lot in common with Mori, he was one of the VERY FEW people you could relax with.

"Hey (Y/N), you ok?" He asked in his gruff voice.

"Yes, Im fine. Thanks for caring." You said in a small voice. At your voice, Mori smiled a little. He put his hand ontop of your head and slightly ruffled your silky hair. You smiled and giggled a bit, putting your small hand ontop of his, trying to lightly pull it off.

Oh yeah, and another thing about you and Mori that NO ONE, but Haruhi knew was... You are his adoptive sister, which kind of led to your shyness. You had always felt like you, with your background, didn't deserve to be around all these rich people, their life was so big and grand, and it made you shy. But Mori was always there to make you feel better, and if he wasn't there you had another person, which was Haruhi. You felt safer around her because, well, she is a commoner at heart, just like you.

"I'll see you at home tonight." He said in a quiet voice, not wanting to embarrass you, and walked back to his table with Honey and all their fangirls.  

You turned your attention back to the floor as you listened to Haruhi making the girls laugh. You heard a chuckle and glanced up seeing Kasanodo chuckling. He made eye contact with you for a brief second and what happened next he didn't expect.

He expected you to freeze and get scared, but oh no, not even close.


You blushed. When you noticed he saw your pink blush, it flared to crimson. You quickly stood up and headed quickly, but in a mannerly order, to the door and slipped out of them, closing them behind you.

Once you hears the soft click behind you, you huffed at yourself.

"Dang it (Y/N)! You have to keep yourself together!" You whispered screamed to yourself.

When you collected yourself, you called up your driver to take you home.



------Time Skip-------

You were standing outside in the estate garden, admiring the red roses , when you heard footsteps. You turned around to see Mori, standing there quietly. You sat down on the stone bench, and motioned for him to sit next to you. He made slow , calm strides to the bench and sat down. For a full minute it was dead silent, until Mori broke the silence.

*cue record scratching*

"Now dear readers, let me just point out that you are SO shy that Mori had to break the silence. Mori. The quietest guy in the world. I mean come on, lets just take a step back and-"

"Damn it Author! Stop breaking the fourth wall!"

"Fine~ you get the gist, back to the story.~"

*record resetting*

"So, why did you run out of the music room?" Mori asked in a hushed tone.

"I..... I-I didn't run, but... Well......" You started
"Well?" Mori questioned.

"I kinda like Kasanoda-sempai... And I got nervous and left." You squeaked out, looking down at your feet.

You heard a small chuckle and saw Mori with a slight smile on his face.

"Wh-whats so funny?" You asked timidly. Mori put his hand on top of your head again and ruffled your hair.

"I cant believe it took you this long to tell me." He said looking down at you.

You starred at him in shock, cheeks rosey from embarrassment.

"How did you know!" You whisper screamed.

He smiled, " I know because I know you."

You calmed down a little and put your head on his chest, wrapping your arms around him.

"I know. Your the only one who truly knows me." You said into his shirt.

After a few seconds you let go and stood up.

"Im going to go to bed, night Mori."

"Night, (Y/N)-chan."





-----------Time Skip to Monday-------------

You were in Advanced English class, with had all grades in it, so that meant Mori, Tamaki, the twins,  Honey, Haruhi, Kasanoda, and Kyoya were in there with you. You guys had just finished Shakespeare's famous tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. You looked up from the book with the teacher standing infront by the white board.

"Ok class, as you have just finished the book, you will be paired up with a partner and next Friday you will have to either talk about the book write an essay and read it aloud in front of the class , perform a scene, or make a slide show or poster." He said in smooth and even tone.

'Man, I wish I could speak infront of people with that much ease.' You were jolted back into reality when you heard a shrill voice.
"Can we choose our own partners?" Renge shouted, giving a sly wink to Kyoya who seemed unaffected.

"No, I have already decided who will be paired up with who."

At hearing this you widened you eyes. No! You had to have either Mori or Haruhi.

"Since your so keen on knowing who you got, Renge, we will start with you.  Renge will be paired up with Nekozawa..."

'Please let it be Mori. Please please please please....'

"Haruhi and Honey..." You glanced to your left seeing Honey's wide smile, waving to Haruhi, who gave a thumbs up and a smile in return.


'Please please please please please'

" Tamaki with Kathryn," you heard a fan girl scream and Tamaki scream across the room standing on his chair, "Im coming for you my queen!"... Followed by a multitude of fangirl screams.

'Please please please please please'

"Kyoya and Mori,"

'No! That cant happen! Oh please! Someone help!'

"Kasanoda and (Y/N), Hikaru and----"

You didnt hear the rest.

'Me and Kasanoda?! I cant even look at him without flushing red, let alone talk to him!' You screamed in your head and sunk lower in your chair. A few minutes later the bell rung and you slowly started packing up your things. You heard footsteps come towards you, but  you ignored it, until you felt a tap on your shoulder.

You turned your head to see Kasanoda. You blushed and looked down and then he blushed and looked the other way, scratching the back of his neck.

He cleared his throat and started talking," So, uh, (Y/N), since we have been paired, I was wondering if you wanted to met up and, you know talk about the project."

You stood up and grabbed your bag, putting it over your shoulder. "Um.... Sure, s-since we have lunch break now, I guess we could ....... Go to the ...um..... Rose Garden  to talk." You answered nervously.
"Ya, sure." He replied following you out the door to the cafeteria.

Once you guys made it to the cafeteria, you waited in line for food, with Kasanoda beside you and the twins infront of you.

You guys picked up your trays and started moving down the line as the servers pilled your plate of deluxe food.

"So (Y/N), how are you gonna do the report in front of the entire class if you cant talk?" Hikaru asked REALLY LOUDLY.

Your face flushed from embarrassment.

"I-I-I-", you started when you felt a hand on your shoulder.

"She will do just fine, thank you very much Hikaru." Kasanoda said harshly.

"I don't know, I think it would be better if you guys practiced in front of a group before you did it in front of the whole class." Karou said also very loudly. By now everyone was quiet, trying to hear your conversation.

The twins turned to the rest of the cafeteria and both stood on chairs.

"How about we have our own Ouran Romeo and Juliet perform a scene infront of the host club next friday?" Karou said to the crowd, which they responded with cheers.

"Then its settled! Hope all of you come to see (Y/N) and Kasanoda's performance of Romeo and Juliet Friday at lunch!" Hikaru exclaimed.

You stood there in horror, watching your fate being sealed. You quickly walked out of the room and into the halls, your head in your hands, shaking and trembling. You heard footsteps come near you, but you didnt look up until you heard someone clear there throat.

"(Y/N).... Im really sorry, I didn't mean for any of this to happen, they just-" Kasanoda started.

"Its okay, its not your fault. You were just trying to defend me." You said, shakily getting to your feet. You picked up your bag and straightened up. You looked to his hands and say that he was holding your forgotten lunch tray in one hand and his in the other. You awkwardly tried to take your tray from him but he pulled back. You gave him a confused look.

"Here... Let me take it...." You said reaching for your tray again, and again he pulled back giving you a look that melted your heart.

"Its okay.  Romeo should take care of his Juliet." He said giving you a small smile. Your cheeks flames up and you averted your eyes. Getting control of yourself, you reached up and gently linked your arm with his, leading him down the rose garden, with a hidden smile on your face.










----------------------Time Skip to next Thursday after school--------------------------

You and Kasanoda just finished your rehearsal for the day and have been meeting everyday at lunch and after school to practice your scene. It had been a long time that you guys have been working together and you think you had made some strong connections. You guys had shared food, songs, and jokes with each other.Even though you are confident in your guys' performance, you're extremely nervous. What if they laugh at you? What if they don't like to performance? You were beginning to have a nervous breakdown and you needed Mori to calm you down. You looked through the empty halls, occasionally sticking your head into a room to check for him. You headed to music room 3 and looked in. He was helping to clean up while Honey was asleep on the couch. The cost was clear.  You walked up to him, silent as a mouse, and wrapped your arms around his back.

He stiffened up, but relaxed when he saw that it was you, not some crazed fan girl. He turned around so he could wrap his arms around you and that your face was in his chest. He started stroking your hair as you ceased shaking.

"Mori....  Im scarred...."

P.O.V. Change
------------------

I was running down the halls trying to find (Y/N). After our rehearsal she had forgotten her Romeo and Juliet book, and I wanted to return it. I ran past the music room and stopped dead in my tracks. I looked through the cracked open door and saw something horrifying. Mori was hugging (Y/N). Then she spoke.

"Mori...... Im scarred....."

That ripped a whole in my heart. She was scarred and she went to morinozuka and not me. She loved him, didn't she? Im just her school partner. Everything we had between us is false. I love her. Doesn't she love me?

I couldn't bare to watch this anymore so I ran off.



-------Time Skip to Friday at the Host Club--------

Back to Your P.O.V.


You and Kasanoda were all dressed in your performance attire and were waiting for Kyoya to give you the ok to start. You looked around and saw the beautiful props and exquisite backdrop, while you waited.

 While you were sitting and waiting.... No, I take that back.... All day Kasanoda had been very quite. It was kind of stressing you out. Kyoya came up to you and Kasanoda.

"Ok you two, its time. Go up on our stage, I will introduce you and what scene you guys are doing, then you guys will start." Kyoya said, starting to lead you to the stage.

"Good luck." You whispered to him and squeezed his hand. He sharply pulled away and walked faster.

Once you guys got on there you could look into the crowd that was in music room three. Almost the entire school had showed up. This is not good.




"Kasanoda and (Y/N) will be performing a scene from the famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet. This scene will be the scene where Romeo finds Juliet's "dead" body, and what happens after that you will have to find out for yourselves. Now, Romeo and Juliet." Kyoya said introducing you.

All eyes were on you.


And you HATED it.


"I----- I know all of you have been, um... Waiting for this, but the performance will, uh, will go on, but after another ten minutes.... Thanks..." You said stumbling off the stage. Hikaru and Karou came upto you and wrapped an arm around you.

"Your leaving so early (Y/N)? I thought you said you could do this." The twins said at the same time, teasing you.

"Im n-not leaving, I'm just ... Going.... For dramatic effect. I w-will be back." You said quickly brushing past them and making a beeline for the entrance doors . Once you made it to the door you sprinted away, down the glossy halls.


----3rd Person P.O.V.----
After (Y/N) left the room was filled was murmors, until a voice shouted out grabbing everyones attention. It was Haruhi.

"Hey Kasanoda! Why dont you stop acting like a jerk and go and comfort her?"

Kasanoda got off the stage and shrugged. Haruhi charged up to him and got up in his face.

"What was that? Why did you shrug. (Y/N) needs you and you just ignore her. What kind of boyfriend d---"

"Im not her boyfriend! He is." Kasanoda exploded, pointing at Mori.

Mori's eyes widened in shock. Kasanoda stormed over to him.

"Thats right! I saw what happened. You were all hugging her and petting her hair. Why dont you admit it! You and (Y/N) are dating! You just didnt want anyone to know. Why dont you comfort her. She isnt my problem. Shes yours ."

Kasanoda didnt get any farther. He was picked up by the front of his shirt and thrown into an empty table, sending it flying, along with him. Everyone sat there shocked and silent as the gentle giant tried to control his rage.

"Shes not my girlfriend!" He shouted at him.".... She's my sister......." He whispered quietly.


It was so quite in that room you could her a pin drop. Then Kasanoda spoke up. "You dont have any relatives but Honeynozuka."

"Shes adoptive. Thats why shes always quite. She doesnt think she belongs withthe rich when she had grown up so poor." Mori said walking over to Kasanoda and pulling him to his feet by his tie. "Now, are you going to stay here or are you going to go out there and find my sister like a real man?" Mori said, looking him dead in the eyes.

"I'll go find her." He said, and with that he ran off after you.

-----Kasanoda P.O.V--------

I tore down the halls as quick as I could. How could I be such an idiot! I hurt the girl I lov--.... Wait.... Do I really love (Y/N)? I when I found her with Mori I thought I had never loved her and I had just been over exaggerating our relationship... It couldnt be love can it?  But.... I can't live without her. Shes always been so kind and I just hurt her.....so it must be.... I have to find her and tell her.

But I have checked all the halls and couldn't find a trace off her! Where could she be!

The rose garden

I sprinted down the long hall heading to the north door where the garden is. I threw the door open and ran ontop of the green grass. I ran all through the now, maze of rose covered walls, looking left and right. I was about to give up when I saw a piece of yellow fabric and some sniffles.


"(Y/N)!"




---------P.O.V. Change------


I can't believe that I thought that I could do this! I knew that I shouldn't have agrred to do this! I only did it for Kasanoda... Now he hates me...

As I thought that thought I felt tears running down my face. After a good five minutes of sprinting I had come to the center of the rose garden. I slowly walked to a corner and sank to my knees as I felt more tears pour down my face. I sniffled. It doesnt matter anymore. They will all laugh at me, Kasanoda will still hate me, I will lose Haruhi as a friend, and Mori will have to stop talking to me to keep up his family name. Maybe when I go home I can ask Mr.and Mrs. Takashi that I want to switch schools. That way I wont have to face the laughing, the sneers, or Kasanoda.



"(Y/N)!"


You whipped your head towards the sound. There stood Kasanoda, panting and tired. His heart broke when he saw your face all red and covered in tears. You quickly turned you face away from him and rubbed your face fiercely, trying to dry the tears to hide the fact that you had been crying.

You felt a pair of hands gently take your fore arms and held them away from your face, but you still didnt look at him. You felt him take your fore arms in one hand and with the other turn your face towards him. As you were forced to look at him you felt one more tear slowly slide down your face. He turned your face a little more and as the tear reached your jawline you felt him kiss it away.  You flushed crimson and averted your gaze from his eyes. You heard him let out a sigh. You then felt two strong arms gently lift you from your position in the corner and put into his lap, your back being supported by one of his arm, your knees hanging over his thigh, your feet touching the cool grass, your head in the crook of his neck, and his head ontop of yours with his arms wrapped around you.

He little kissed the top of your forehead before mumbling "Im sorry" atleast twenty times. You gently pulled your head out from under his so you could face him.

"Why?" You asked, your voice shaking. "Why would you come out here to look for me?"

Kasanoda was taken aback by this. "Why?.. Well, it beacause.... Because I love you.... And if you dont feel the same I understand..."

Now you were taken aback. You loved him with all your heart. Kasanoda looked away, dejected. You gently took a hold of his chin and pulled it toward you. When his face was fully turned towards you, you slowly and shyly leaned forward and kissed his cheek. Them you pulled back.

"If you loved me, why where you so mean to me?"

"Well, I-I, um, saw you and Mori hugging and I thought you loved him instead of me, and I was broken by that idea, but now I know the truth."

"Oh." You looked down to your hands. "Now that you know I'm a commoner by blood, I would understand if you dont want to be around me anymore." You said your voice starting to crack. What happened next you didnt expect. You felt a hand on your cheek, pulling you towards him and a sudden pressure on your lips. Your eyes widened. Kasanoda was kissing you. Your first kiss ever. Even though you had to kiss for the scene you guys faked it. Snapping out of your thoughts, you soon closed your eyes and melted into the kiss, running your hands through his red locks. You felt his tongue prod your lips and you shyly opened up do his darting tongue. You felt so complete and so happy and you didn't ever want this moment to stop, but the need for the life giving oxygen was to great and you guys broke of the kiss about 30 seconds later.

"(Y/N), I would love you not matter what. Poor or Rich. And I dont care what anyone else says. I love you." And with that he kissed your forehead and stood up, offering you his hand which you took. "Now, lets go finish our scene." You nodded and he scooped you up into his arms. You let out a squeak and clutched onto him, your arms around his neck. He chuckled and kissed your forehead once again and headed back to the music room.


-------Time Skip----------

"Now, this time for real, we have Kasanoda and (Y/N) performing a scene from Romeo and Juliet."


The curtains pulled away, and there you were, the bed. "Dead." Then Kasanoda enters the tomb where your body lays.

"Oh, my dear Juliet! Death has taken your breath away, but not your beauty. Its not fair though! You, with all your beauty and radiance shouldn't be locked away down here, but with your Husband, with me, in Verona. Oh my wife, oh my dear Juliet. If you cant come up with me, I will join you here in this tomb forever, as husband and wife." Romeo then took out the "poison".
"Oh sweet poison, be my guide to the gates so I may forever be with my love."  He then puts the vile to his lips and drinks it.

"Then with a kiss," he leaned down and kissed you lightly on your lips, "I die." And with that Romeo fell over away from your body. After about thirty seconds you started stretching and slowly stood. "Where am I?" You asked outloud. You slowly walked a little further upstage and squinted. "Oh!" Your eyes widen and you clasped your hands. "The potion! Im in the tomb and Friar was supposed to send Romeo to come and get me so we can live happily ever after in Verona!.... But..... Where is he? He was supposed to get here by the time I had woken up. "

You walked up a little more upstage looking at your surrounding of Music Room 3 as if your Romeo would be hiding in the crowd. You turned around and looked at the floor. You recognized Romeo's body and gasped loudly. You ran toward his body and sank to your knees.

"Romeo! What happened to you!" You bent down and put your head on his chest. After waiting about 15 seconds you raised your head with tears in your eyes. "No heart beat." You whispered.

"Whats this?" You reached for his hand and found the vile. "He has drank it all, with nothing left to help me." You put the vile down on the stage floor. "Maybe he still has some on his lips that would do the job!" You exclaimed. You leaned down and pressed your lips to his, not finding enough "poison." You broke the kiss and raised your head. You felt a tear slowly run down your face. "Oh!" You quickly wiped it off. "Here!" You pulled out Romeo's "dagger" from his scabbard. "This shall do it!" You turned toward Romeo and gently kissed his forehead one more time. You then pointed the dagger at yourself. "Come, oh happy dagger. My body shall be your sheath for the rest of eternity." You said bitterly. You plunged the dagger into your stomach, and slowly lied your head down ontop of one side of his chest and put your hand on the other. And with your last dying breath you said your last sentence loud enough for every one to hear.



                                                   "I love you."  


And with that the curtains fell.



Once the curtains had fallen all you could hear was whistles, sniffles, clapping, and hollering. You opened your eyes and sat up to look at Kasanoda only to see him looking up at you, grinning ear to ear. You got up and pulled him up with you by his hands. You grinned and gave him a hug, and he wrapped his arms around you.

"You were perfect." He said into your ear. You pulled back a little and gave him a big smile. "Thank you! You were great too!" You said as you stood on your tiptoes and gave him a kiss on his cheek. You took his right hand into your left and faced the curtains and he did the same. Kasanoda gave Kyoya the nod and the curtains rose. The clapping volume rose again and as you looked around all you could see was girls with handkerchiefs and boys comforting them while shouting and clapping.

Kasanoda had you bow first, with him following shortly after. Then you bowed together. You thought the room couldn't get any louder, but boy where you wrong. Unexpectedly, Kasanoda grabbed your face and pulled you into a tight embrace and a kiss. When that happened the room roared. You guys were still kissing when the curtains fell back down.

-----Timeskip-----

It was after the play and you two were in front of the stage talking to the crowd. It was one fangirl after the next gushing about how romantic it was until the twins showed up. When Kasanoda saw them he tensed up,draped his arm around your waist, and gave a light growl. You looked around to see why he had gotten all protective when you saw the twins. You looked back up to Kasanoda to see his eyes trained on them, so you gave him a kiss on the cheek to calm him down. It worked because he flushed pink and loosened up,

 
"So (Y/N)", one started, " how does it feel to be over your shyness?" the other finished.

"Well... I dont think I'm over my shyness just yet, but as long as I have Kasanoda with me, I can get through anything."  Kasanoda nodded and kissed you, dipping you back. Once again you heard the fangirls squeal and you smiled into the kiss. Its funny though. You thought romance was dead, and that princes like this weren't real, but boy were you wrong. You had your prince and all was right with the world.













It doesn't matter though, because when your with your Romeo nothing can go wrong.
